𝑯𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒕, 𝑻𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒂

During our recent trip to Tunisia, our first stop was in Hammamet. Hammamet is one of Tunisia’s main tourist hotspots, located only an hour away from Tunis airport. Hammamet has gorgeous sandy beaches and lots of beach resorts. The medina of Hammamet dates back to around 1500, and is characterized by beautiful white buildings. Most of the buildings are traditionally built and decorated, with coloured doors and windows. The symbol of the hand of Fatima is present all around the medina, especially on the doors. It is a very popular ornament used to ward off the evil or envious eye and bring good luck, protection, good health, and abundance. Hammamet is surely worth a visit while in Tunisia.
